16% Of Community Mental Health Centers Use Measurement-Based Care, Despite Knowledge Of Value

As of October 2021, 83% of community mental health center (CMHC) executives said that “their organization is familiar with the value of using measurement-based care (MBC)”, however just 16% were using MBCs. About 33% of CMHC executives said their organizations were “very familiar” or “extremely familiar” with measurement-based care. MBC is the practice of using standardized measurements to assess behavioral health consumer symptoms and progress in order to inform treatment decisions.
