Between 2006 and 2018, the age-adjusted rate of alcohol-induced death among adults aged 25 and older rose by 43%, from 10.7 per 100,000 in 2006 to 15.3 in 2018. In the six years prior, from 2000 to 2006, the rate was stable at about 10.7 per 100,000.
