Panel Discussion On The Role Of Psychotherapy, Cognitive Training, & Digital Platforms For Treatment Of Major Depressive Disorder

Psychotherapy, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, is a widely accepted and effective treatment approach for major depressive disorder.1 Cognitive training represents a promising and novel therapeutic intervention to address cognitive and affective symptoms of depression.2 Individual and systematic barriers may limit initiation and adherence to psychological interventions.3 Digital platforms may be one potential solution to improve access to treatment, lessen concerns about social stigma, and ease the cost burden.4 Our panel of experts will engage in an exciting discussion on the role of psychotherapy, cognitive training, and digital platforms for treatment of major depressive disorder.
