Few State Medicaid Plans Have Evaluated The Effects Of Tele-Behavioral Health Provided Through Managed Care On Access & Costs
Of the 37 state Medicaid plans that, in January and February 2020, covered Medicaid behavioral health services via telehealth through managed care organizations (MCOs), few have formally evaluated the effects on access to behavioral health care and costs.
