Increasing Medicare LTSS Benefits Could Cost Between $1 Billion & $13 Billion Per Year

Increasing access to long-term services and supports (LTSS) through the Medicare program for beneficiaries aged 65 and older could cost the federal government from $1.1 billion to $12.8 billion per year. The cost increases would depend upon the benefit changes to the Medicare program.
