Medicare Advantage Plans Approved To Offer Expanded Non-Medical Supplemental Benefits

Starting in 2020, Medicare Advantage plans will be able to offer enrollees expanded non-medical supplemental benefits. In this context, non-medical supplemental benefits include services such as transportation or nutrition for individuals with complex health and social care needs. Such services can be provided through collaborations between health plans and community-based organizations, such as Aging and Disability Networks.
