Medicare Telehealth Flexibility Extended During The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency At-Risk Of Ending Without Congressional Action

Most of the federal Medicare telehealth flexibilities granted during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency are slated to end when the public health emergency (PHE) determination expires. The most recent determination was issued on January 14, 2022; effective January 16, 2022, the PHE is extended for another 90 days.
