John Budin, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist living with bipolar disorder.  For many years as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, he directed hospital-based programs affiliated with Columbia College of Hospital and Surgeons in New York City.  Currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. He is the Advisor for PsychU’s Stigma Section.

Dwayne Mayes, MS is the Advisor for PsychU’s Patient and Caregivers Section and a Program Director of the Recovery Network & Peer Training Program at the Mental Health Association of Westchester. He is also a former board member of the International Association of Peer Specialists.

Caroline Harris, MSW, LCSWA is a licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate at the Hospice Home Social Worker at Hospice of the Piedmont in North Carolina.
