Mental Health Professionals Experience Elevated Stress & Anxiety When Managing Client Suicidal Behaviors

A recent study found that many mental health professionals experience elevated levels of stress and anxiety in relation to their role in managing suicidal behaviors; their distress was found to be associated with the emotional exhaustion component of burnout.
