New Intensive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Is Nearly 80% Effective In Treating Depression
A new, intensive, individualized type of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is nearly 80% effective in treating depression. After five days of treatment, 78.6% of the participants in the treatment group were no longer depressed.
This type of TMS is called Stanford neuromodulation therapy (SNT). It delivers individualized intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS).
