The Importance Of Housing For Individuals With Mental Illness

The presentation entitled “The Importance of Housing for Individuals with Mental Illness” with speaker Kathy Day helps bring light to the housing crisis the US faces for those with mental illness. This is especially true during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Kathy Day will review the importance of housing for those with mental illness, discuss the impact of COVID-19 on housing, and highlight the patient and caregivers’ perspectives on housing for the virtual audience at the 2021 Florida Supportive Housing Coalition Conference.
