Youth Emergency Room Visits Increase For Suicide, Drug & Mental Health Conditions During COVID-19
Compared to the same surveillance period prior to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of emergency room visits for adolescents aged 12 to 17 increased significantly for suicide, drug, and mental health issues, compared to pre-COVID-19 levels.
