About This Event
Virtual Event – Viruses, Vaccines, & Long-Term Consequences: Perspectives on SARS-CoV-2 ‘Mythbusters’ Edition
SARS-CoV-2 has impacted our health, wealth, and lives on a global scale, the extent to which will not be fully appreciated for years to come. As we begin to re-establish ourselves after more than a year of uncertainty, risk, and restrictions, many questions have been answered, yet many questions remain regarding this novel coronavirus and its potential long-term consequences to our society.
In this virtual learning event, Drs. Jacquelyn Canning and Gary Pattee dispel some of the most prevalent and persistent myths surrounding the novel coronavirus, viral infection, viral variants, vaccines, and potential consequences of vaccination for the PsychU community. They will reflect on how our understanding of SARS-CoV-2 has evolved since 2019 and review some of the frequent falsehoods surrounding vaccination for COVID. Join us for this lively discussion and share some of your thoughts or experiences as we have all navigated through this global pandemic.
