21% Of Youth In Mental Health Crisis Stay In Emergency Departments Longer Than 12 Hours Awaiting Treatment Or Hospital Admission

About 20.9% of youth who made a mental health crisis visit to a local hospital emergency department from January 2020 through December 2021 waited more than 12 hours for treatment or admission.
