Alaska Medicaid To Cover Assisted Living Services In At-Home Settings
On July 29, 2023, Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy signed Senate Bill (SB) 57, which authorizes the state’s Medicaid program to pay for assisted living services in at-home settings. The bill established new service type and residential license type. These services will be for elderly adults and adult foster children.
