The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) has been a supporting organization of PsychU since 2018. Dr. Jill Harkavy-Freidman sat down with PsychU to talk about how an individual can get involved with AFSP and become an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. Dr. Harkavy-Freidman also unveils AFSP’s plan to reduce the rate of suicide by 20% by 2025.
