Clinical Perspectives on the Impact of Agitation in Alzheimer’s Dementia Among the Hispanic Community
Latinos/Hispanics represent the fastest-growing population in the United States yet, they face significant health disparities in Alzheimer’s Dementia (AD) diagnosis and care.1 Join us for an enlightening discussion moderated by John Awad, MD, alongside esteemed speakers Freddi Segal-Gidan, PA, PhD (Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California) and Daniel Jimenez, PhD (University of Miami), as they share their clinical perspectives on the impact of AD among the Hispanic population, analyze the risk factors and clinical outcomes challenges that the patients and caregivers may face, discuss the profound effect of agitation in Alzheimer’s Dementia (AAD) within this population and explore the roles of the medical community in addressing symptoms of agitation.
