Private Event – Do Inflammation & Metabolic Disturbances Metastasize In The Brain?
Private Event – Do Inflammation & Metabolic Disturbances Metastasize In The Brain?
A Private Event for Partners Health Management.
Cognitive symptoms are a critical target in psychiatry. The presentation will explore how co-occurring metabolic and inflammatory influences can yield greater cognitive dysfunction. While reviewing the mechanistic relationships across inflammation and metabolic disturbances associated with psychiatric disease, the discussion will bring to light clinical and pre-clinical examples of targeting immune and/or metabolic systems to potentially improve mental health.
