The PsychU community is cordially invited to join Drs. Amica Simmons-Yon and Rachel Self as they discuss the critically important topic of suicide awareness and prevention. An overview of resources available on PsychU as well as some of the leading national organizations devoted to suicide awareness and prevention will be provided. Appropriate language, ongoing initiatives, screening tools, and navigation through materials on PsychU will also be highlighted. We all have a role to play in increasing suicide awareness, providing support, and directing individuals in need to potentially life-saving resources.
