Telepsychiatry In Dialysis Patients: A Dream Or A Reality?
Depression is the most common mental health illness in patients with kidney failure. The reported prevalence of depression in the dialysis population varies widely and can be as high as approximately 40%.1 Join us for a conversation with Dr Shirazian and Dr Behrens as we explore the utility of telepsychiatry in patients undergoing hemodialysis, potential barriers, and the importance of addressing mental health in patients with chronic kidney disease.Reference
