Virtual Learning Session – Evolving Pharmacology Of Depression: Beyond The Monoamine Hypothesis

The monoamine hypothesis has been the prevailing theory underlying depression. This presentation will examine the alternative and emerging hypothesis of depression pathophysiology, including non-monoamine neurotransmitters, genetic influences, hormonal effects, immunology, and neurotrophic factors.
