This slide deck focuses on defining agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia including symptom presentation, prevalence and burden on patients and caregivers. We will focus on identifying challenges in discussing agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia between patients, caregivers, and family members. Finally, we will describe the development of the Agitation in Alzheimer’s Screener for Caregivers (AASC)TM.
