Wellness is a self-defined balance of healthy habits such as eating well, sleeping, being productive, and participating in meaningful activities. There are eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, financial, occupational, and social. This fact sheet will define the eight dimensions of wellness, provides examples of behaviors that promote each dimension of wellness, and demonstrate that the eight dimensions of wellness are interconnected.
