Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a counseling style intended to strengthen reasons for behavioral change by eliciting a client’s motivations for change and resolving ambivalence. This is an approach that health care providers can implement to assist patients in chronic disease management, substance use disorders and medication adherence.
