Psychometric Validation of the AASC®: Supporting Early Detection & Improving Caregiver-HCP communication in Agitation Associated With Dementia Due to Alzheimer’s Disease (AAD)

Establishing the psychometric validity of a medical screener tool in the target patient population helps ensure its effectiveness and trustworthiness for clinical use.  Predictive validity of the AASC®, a brief two-item screener designed to support caregivers and HCPs with early detection of AAD, has been assessed against the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA) consensus definition for agitation in cognitive disorders.  In this webinar, Dr. Carolyn Clevenger will provide both background on AASC® tool development and details on AASC® quantitative validation study design and results.
