There is an unmet need for mental health care services with a deficit noted between the number of individuals suffering from mental illnesses and the number of individuals receiving treatment for the same.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training program intended to provide basic knowledge about mental illness and teach trainees how to help and respond to those experiencing a mental illness and/or mental health crisis.
