38% Of Consumers Prefer Virtual Behavioral Health Care Over In-Person Visits
During 2022, 38% of consumers preferred virtual behavioral health services to in-person services, based on more than 8,000 responses to the Rock Health 2022 Digital Health Consumer Adoption Survey. Most consumers preferred telehealth visits for prescription refills (61%), and the preference for telehealth was even higher among consumers with multiple prescriptions, at 64% among those with one-to-three prescriptions and 71% among those with four or more prescriptions.
