43% Of People Who Sought Mental Health Or Addiction Care Could Not Access Care At Least One Occasion
A total of 43% of U.S. adults who say they needed addiction care, and 43% who said they needed mental health care in the past 12 months did not receive that care, according to a poll by The Harris Poll on behalf of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. In comparison, just 21% of those who needed primary care in the past 12 months did not receive it.
