80% Of California Caregivers Say Caregiving Responsibilities Affect Their Ability To Pay Household Expenses
Approximately 79.6% of recently surveyed family caregivers in California said that their caregiving responsibilities either somewhat (47.9%) or very much (31.7%) affected their ability to pay household expenses. A full 63.7% said they have used savings, borrowed money, or increased their credit card debt to help pay for the costs associated with their caregiver responsibilities.
