Ask A Digital Navigator: Adopting Technology To Improve Mental Health
As digital mental health tools are becoming an integral part of our healthcare landscape, there is a need to integrate them in our clinical practice. Dr. Maria Perez will facilitate this discussion about the role of digital navigators. Our experts, Noy Alon and Sarah Perret, will present on the challenges of implementing digital mental health tools into clinical practice, define the role of the digital navigator, and discuss the role of digital navigators in the implementation of technology into health care.

MoreNoy Alon, BS was formerly the digital literacy director at the Digital Psychiatry Lab, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and led the team’s digital literacy curriculum development and community outreach. She also worked on app evaluation and was in charge of updating the largest database of mental health applications, known as the M-health Index and Navigation Database (MIND). Noy helped co-lead several digital navigator trainings and has trained over 100 behavioral health clinicians, volunteers, and community members in implementing digital health solutions.Sarah Perret, MS, BS
