It is estimated that ~6 million children have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the US with a large proportion having another mental or behavioral disorder1. Additionally, approximately 10 million adults have ADHD and may be associated with comorbid psychiatric illnesses including major depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders2
Dr. Newcorn will be discussing attention deficit disorder across the lifespan including symptomatology, underlying biology, differential diagnosis, unmet needs, and sharing some additional resources on this disease state.
