Nurse Wellness: A Call To Action
Worldwide, nurses are on the frontlines caring for the sick and injured of society. The presence of COVID-19 and the global pandemic have shined a light on nurses’ heroic efforts to mend the emotional and physical wounds of patients and their families. Their dedication, selflessness, and sacrifice can come with serious costs to the nurses themselves, their families, and beyond. Consistent with the fourth aim of healthcare1 “to improve the work life of health care providers, including clinicians and staff”- this webinar will emphasize the pressing need for self-care among all nurses, with specific advice and guidance about what to do, how to do it, and why wellness matters. Please join Kim Lonergan, Otsuka Senior MSL and our Section Advisors, Alan “Tony” Amberg and Sara Jones, as they lead a discussion around this timely and important topic.
