In this webinar, Dr. Michael Green and Dr. Stephen Marder will discuss alterations in schizophrenia. Both Drs. Green and Marder are past recipients of the Lieber Prize, awarded for outstanding achievements in schizophrenia research. The webinar discussion will revolve around social cognition and its role in the everyday functioning for patients affected with schizophrenia. Social cognition underlies everyday tasks crucial for social connection, such as reading emotions in others’ faces or making inferences as to what others are thinking.
Drs. Green and Marder will consider key questions including: Is social cognition related to daily functioning in schizophrenia? What is the social brain? Can improved social cognition lead to better functional outcomes? Register today to hear the discussion on the latest research findings.
