  • Highlight the burden of MDD
  • Identify inadequately treated MDD and understand how it impacts patients
  • Understand which patients are at risk for inadequately treated MDD
  • Explain MDD treatment strategies

Amaka Onyereri received her bachelor’s degree in general science and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University/Oregon Health Sciences University. Her passion for patient care led her to practice clinically as a community pharmacist where she served patients for close to 20 years in different capacities as a staff pharmacist, pharmacy manager and pharmacy clinical services manager. As a Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager, Amaka spearheaded various clinical and patient care initiatives such as immunizations, medication therapy management, point of care testing, and most recently a long-acting injectables pilot for antipsychotics.
