Virtual Event – The Aftermath of Suicide: What Can Be Done & How Should We Talk About It?
This is a Virtual Event for PsychU members in Texas.
The presentation will focus on the impact of suicide on mental health. Upon reviewing the prevalence and suicide statistics in the U.S., the discussion will review how certain myths, media coverage, and language can give rise to misperceptions. Strategies to combat stigma and protect those at risk will be featured.
