SARS-CoV-2 has impacted our health, wealth, and lives on a global scale, the extent to which will not be fully appreciated for years to come. As we re-establish ourselves after more than a year of uncertainty, risk, and restrictions, new challenges and a growing appreciation of the potential long-term consequences of this pandemic are emerging.
Join us for this virtual learning event featuring a panel of esteemed experts as they share perspectives on various aspects of our lives that have been significantly altered due to the global pandemic. Dr. Gary Pattee will be joined by Dr. Gaurava Agarwal, psychiatrist & Director of Physician Well-Being for Northwestern, Kathy Day, caregiver & patient advocate, and Dr. Mojgan Makki, child, adolescent & adult psychiatrist, to discuss critical topics related our world after COVID. This insightful dialogue will include a discussion of the emotional phases of a disaster, a stress continuum model, the impact of COVID on mood & mental health, social isolation & loneliness, as well as provide reasons for hope and sources of resilience.
