New Hampshire Medicaid To Cover Inpatient & Residential Treatment For Adults With SMI

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is planning to provide Medicaid coverage for short-term inpatient and residential treatment services for adult beneficiaries ages 21 to 64 with serious mental illness (SMI). To do so, DHHS is submitting an amendment to its Medicaid 1115 Substance Use Disorder Treatment & Recovery Access Waiver.
