Occupancy In Senior Living Facilities Increased For Seventh Quarter In A Row

According to a recent report by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC), more than 5,000 senior living and nursing care properties in the nations 31 largest metropolitan U.S. markets saw higher occupancy rates for the seventh quarter in a row. Overall, the occupancy rate for senior living increased 0.3 percentage points to 83.2% in the first quarter of 2023 and was up from 80.3% one year ago.
