This was the finding of a recent international study, Age Of Onset And Cumulative Risk Of Mental Disorders: A Cross-National Analysis Of Population Surveys From 29 Countries.
The research also found, using a more comprehensive measure called lifetime morbid risk (or LMR, for short), that nearly 50% of adults will experience a mental health condition over their lifetimes.
